Road side thindi-Churmuri

The best and ever tastiest thindi(food) you can find in Bangalore is on road-side or foot-path Bandis(trolleys).
You get the best of Bhel puri, Churmuri, Bele masale(moong dal), Congress masale, Kodbale bhel, Tomato slice, Pineapple masala etc...

The one bandi fellow I visit the most is the one in front of MN KRISHNA RAO PARK, Bansavanagudi. He opens his Bandi only in the evening!!
If you goto Krishna Rao park, you can find more number of people in front of his Bandi than number people in that huge park!! :-)
I think you'll need a lot of patience when you visit places like this. You'll get irritated to the core because you'll be waiting for your turn in that rush; also you cannot go away without eating anything coming a long way n seeing all those thindis.

Bonda Centres

The best thing i like to eat on a rainy evening is "Bisi Bisi Bonda"(Hot Hot Bondas) on the footpath.
The one bonda centre i visit the most is in Hanumanthanagar. That guy prepares Awesome Palya bonda, Aambode, Neerulli Bajji, Menasinakai Bajji(Green Chilli bonda) and many other types of bondas.
I think thats the best thing one can wish for when its raining very heavily on a cold evening.

Masala Dosa

The best Masala dosa i've ever had is the one from Vidyarti Bhavan.
U don get tat kind of dosa anywhere else on the Earth!!!

U enjoy it only when u stand in tat rush, queue for min half an hr and watching how others eat. U'll be just cursing each n every person sitting and eating masala dosa... because ur mouth will b watering like hell.......
Even the chutney... wen he pours the chutney onto ur plate, u feel like finishing the whole chutney "pathre"(i mean bowl). This is the photo of The Masala dosa at VB (Vidyarti Bhavan).
Its really something out of the world.

Khaali dose

Guys - if you want to hav khaali dose, try and make it Hotel Mangala in Hanumanthnagar - the quality and the AMBIENCE too…the old Dwarka style…same kind of table and chairs too!! but quite small and cramped…but seriously thats what adds to the joy of eating at places like these…I have even heard that the guy who runs this place is an ex-employee of dwarka…I cant guarantee this - what I can is the taste! Just try it out…
